Came for dinner before a show. The entire experience was outstanding. Excellent food and remarkable 11/10 service from Madelyn. I can’t say enough about this place. You could tell that the staff were all clicking and cohesive. This is your dinner spot in Stratford. Did I mention how amazing the service was…?Service: 5/5
Great location, good food, and good service. The menu was Asian-inspired. We ordered a few items: wings, deep-fried buttermilk chicken burger, and coconut curry soup. The burger was a little dry but delicious. The wings were decent, and the soup was okay, although I would have preferred it to be puréed for a silkier texture. The service was great, and the ambiance was cozy and beautiful.
This was our first time at Mercer Kitchen. Our server had great suggestions. We always ask! Our drink & food were great. The steak & frites with a glaze & fresh mushrooms was cooked a perfect medium-rare. We love a great cut and this was one. Thanks you for a nice evening!
Great food. Fast service. I had the nachos as well as the Korean chicken bowl. Both terrific. Large enough portions that I left full with leftovers. Give this place a shot for sure.Service: 5/5
Atmosphere and quality of food is great but value for price leaves a lot of room for improvement. I was there recently for brunch with a friend. I ordered the balkin yogurt and added two sides to my meal bacon and a biscuit. Each side was $4.50 and the portion sizes were extremely small 3 half strips of bacon for $4.50. Not sure if this is a result of shrinkflation but I was pretty disappointed with this $30 brunch.
We went for dinner after a show and everyone and everything was so amazing. We had the rice balls for an appetizer and they were excellent! Also tried the coconut curry soup- it was amazing and the Maki which was delicious as well, finished off with the to die for carrot cake. Will be back for sure!Service: 5/5
My daughter and I felt our lunch here was somewhat disappointing. The patio was nice with lots of shaded options and our server was pleasant and attentive. The food was on the pricey side for pub-fare though: an appetizer plate of nachos with pulled pork, a chicken sandwich with fries and two non-alcoholic drinks was over $90 with tip. I wouldn't have had a problem with the cost if the food was truly delicious. However, the nachos were very skimpy on the cheese and not very hot; the fries were nice and crispy, but the chicken sandwich was meh.
I had such a great meal here. I had chef's special of the day chowder with pickerel, shrimp and mussels, hint of lemongrass in the broth. Delicious and very filling. And a flight of beers. Great selection of diverse beers from microbreweries. Welcoming, respectful staff. Highly recommended.Service: 5/5
We came here before seeing a play today. The service was great and the food was excellent. Highly suggest to others looking for something out of the ordinary. I had the fried rice balls and the peanut salad which were both great too.Service: 5/5
The welcome was genuine, the atmosphere fun and the food very tasty, reflecting some Asian influences. They have an excellent selection of craft beers, with some quite interesting flavours present. Perfect location on Ontario St, walking distance from the theatres.Rooms: 4/5
