There is something very odd going on at this surgery. There are never any appointments and yet when you go there the patients are nowhere to be seen. You can't even get a health check and blood tests are on their terms. I have not spoken to a doctor in over a year because I can't get an appointment. They say that appointments are released on specific days yet when you call you can't book one. I had to go to my appointment in minster. We are forced to rely on 111 . instead of this surgery .
Absolutely shocking practice since Dr Pasola passed away, it has gone completely downhill. Some staff are so rude on the phone and have no compassion or care for the patients at all. Can never get an appointment even if you ring at 8am on the dot yet the waiting room is always empty. They just tell you to call 111 but when you do they send you back to the GP and it just goes back and forth! Twice now in my second pregnancy they have given me the complete wrong advice which is just unacceptable! Not to mention the amount of times they have given me the wrong advice for my son. The only doctor I trust is Dr Myo which is a shame as I’m now considering moving to a different practice because I have just had enough!
When Dr pasola was still here he knew how I felt l, he understood my conditions and made me feel not so anxious to talk to a GP, but now all I seem to have is trouble especially with my medication they treat you like you just want it when you actually need it! I get asked to put my repeats in days earlier for chemist I do this and it's get rejected, I feel the surgery isn't great since Dr pasola even down too having conversations with him for what we can try, and because it wasn't put on my record there is left a comment after speaking to them that patient says she had conversation with Dr pasola but nothing on record as if your lieing !! This surgery knows how bad my anxiety is but seems they just don't care at all it comes to something when you get so anxious when you need to see a GP or have a conversation it's totally wrong , seeing the GP should make you feel somewhat better but going there having to make sure I have someone with me because of the way they make you feel is so wrong.
Disgusting. They decided to ignore my partners medication of morphine, they breached gdpr by talking to a Manager of the pharmacy, and have ignored the drs at the hospital who told the gp to reduce her medicine 10% a week. They now decided to remove us as patients and ran thr line that we are now trespassing. Thry do not care about patient care. We will go to the Ombudsman and the Information Commissioners Office. Dr Hissett you should be ashamed! You have NOT managed patient care and have failed. Rather than actioning the Dr's requests atr he hospital you pit disabled, vulnerable person at risk and on withdrawal from morphine whixh you know you cannot so, but have!
My wife and I have been with this practice since they first evolved from a previous practice. Dr Mark Pasola moved and started this practice and we moved with him. Sadly Mark passed in 2023, just after Covid disruption and they like other practices went through a period of turmoil. In all our time with them our treatment has been of the highest order. Sometimes I request by email, phone consults or in the surgery. The problem now is the way Government targets are set plus the number of new developments in the area. Thousands, yes thousands of new homes have been or are being built. The g.p.’s can’t cope well with this number of new patients forced on them so they do their best.
Rude and deeply unhelpful reception staff, they treat people with contempt instead of trying to help.
The goalposts always seem to move with this surgery. Told to call from 8 a.m for same day appointment. Rang 200 times on one morning on redial and 127 the next. Got through to be told no appointments. Also no routine appointments due to Christmas coming! Advised to use e-consult again no appointments. Whenever I go into the surgery the seats are empty or at most 4 or 5 people waiting. The receptionist isn’t always helpful either which only adds to the frustration. Not impressed although I can’t fault the nurses or when a blood test is required to be taken.
Best GP Practice by far. Dr Graham Hissett is a credit to this practice. Always kept well informed and received a text message for the Medway MRI department to chase up my MRI. Flu jab service is fabulous, fast and responsive. Thank you to all the staff at The Meads for their outstanding service.
I needed to book an appointment to have my surgical clips removed. Took me 2 minutes to talk to a lovely young man called Pete Mountain, who got me booked in straight away, at the date and time that I wanted. Top bloke
It is impossible to call in the mornings and get an appointment. I called for half an hour, and when they picked up, they hung up. I called again and waiting again about 10 min, this time they said that there weren't any spaces left. It hadn't even been 9 yet either. The registration is horrible.
