Such a lovely cafe! I had a bacon roll which was delicious and so generously filled. The cakes are great too - the apple and almond in particular. The team are really friendly, I feel so lucky to have this cafe near by.
The lady who seems to run this place was really friendly. Trip advisor told me they did vegan food, so I went to grab a takeaway lunch. Unfortunately they don't do vegan food specifically. However they made me a really nice salad sandwich and even warned there might be milk powder in the bread. While I was there I heard someone else wanting a vegan option and again the host was very accommodating. From what I could see of the food and the menu it looks great and well priced.
The white of the fried egg in my breakfast sandwich was partly uncooked. By the time I realised, I was back at my car some distance away. Ordinarily I would have had no hesitation in complaining in person, but I was in a hurry and didn't have time. There is something seriously wrong if you're serving breakfast and can't cook a fried egg properly. Amateurish and disappointing. Shame, because they seemed like nice people.
This was a fantastic find for a Saturday morning breakfast whilst visiting the area for the weekend. The full-english breakfast was spot-on especially with freshly squeezed orange juice and a cup of tea. Easily one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had. The atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff was equally as good as the food with some great advice about places top visit locally.
I love this place, great people, fun atmosphere, great fresh food. Genuinely astonished to see any reviews less than 5 stars on here. Just been this morning with my 6 month old son and everyone was super accommodating as always. Easily my favourite cafe in Bristol.
I had a delicious veggie breakfast here. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. One request: please be more gentle with your eggs. Mine were fried to a crisp with slightly gloopy tops. I wouldn't have minded waiting a smidgen longer for them to be cooked with more care.
Lovely little cafè with a good choice of dishes and reasonable prices. Friendly welcome for humans & well behaved dogs too! Great cuppa tea and a ploughman's on granary bread - lovely! WC available, there is a step into the cafè which would make it awkward for wheelchair users.
It's just been taken over by a lovely family providing super cosy vibes. It's COVID-cautious and a nice quiet place to have a cup of amazing coffee by Extract Roasters. The food and cakes are yum and the staff are friendly and nice to talk to. I highly recommend!
Love this place. Lisa and Shim have a great business here where locals come regularly and the food quality and service is excellent. They are so friendly ane chilled and the coffee is delicious. Doris their dog is very friendly and well-behaved and it is a dog-friendly cafe.
Fab, friendly cafe. A vegan, I wanted something that wasn't on the menu but the lovely owner - who, by the way, also has a gorgeous dog - couldn't have been more helpful. And my food was delicious. Will definitely be going back
