We are a family owned freehold hotel, offering a friendly atmosphere and wholesome homemade food. We strive to provide excellent customer service in all areas. We look forward to welcoming you with a smile.

Story

Our policy is to offer a safe environment for all patrons. Your safety is our priority, and after that, we aim to make your dining experience as enjoyable as possible, your night out as fun as possible and your hotel stay as comfortable as possible. We cater for all functions, and make them as perfect as you would like them, just give us a call or pop in to see us to arrange anything from a meal, to a group night out, or big celebrations, 21sts, 30ths weddings, retirement parties, christenings and much more!

Stayed for a night with a group of friends, room was excellent. Very comfortable and clean.nStaff were brilliant, helpful, friendly and attentive; couldn't fault them.nFood was very good, not the most exciting menu in the world but food was tasty, well cooked, good sized portions and well presented.nBar was well stocked.nPrices were reasonable.nEveryone had a great stay.nBig thanks to all the staff for making us feel very welcome.
Stayed here for 2 nights bed and breakfast. Nice large room which was warm and clean. We were advised if room was not warm enough they could supply a further heater which we did not require. Ate both nights in the hotel and food was good and piping hot. Bar had a friendly atmosphere.Staff were all very nice. Breakfast good. Will certainly return.
We visited Market Inn for a family meal to celebrate our child’s 5th birthday, and it was absolutely spot on from start to finish.nnThe food was really good quality, freshly cooked, and the portions were very generous – nobody left hungry! The menu had something for everyone, which made it ideal for a family occasion.nnAll the staff where friendly, attentive , and genuinely welcoming, they made sure everything ran smoothly and helped make the birthday meal feel special without any fuss.nn1 million stars
Wed 3rd Dec 2025,nnTwo friends and I met here for a good old natter and lunch and WOW, what a wonderful comfortable and cosy warm bar area, the food was absolutely amazing, Scampi and Chips absolutely beautiful and the Coffee spot on. Our first time meeting here and we will be back. The whole experience from staff, food and comfort was just amazing.nnThank you all.nnGisele
Enjoyed our stay as a couple, room size was good and also nicely decorated and clean, good location with a few restaurants and takeaways nearby, a few pubs nearby also but the Market Inn had a nice bar with a good selection of drinks with a function room at the back with music and a pool table. There was a cocktail bar out the back. The food was really good with good, friendly service. The beds were quite comfortable for me, but my partner said it was a little firm for her.
