We are a family owned freehold hotel, offering a friendly atmosphere and wholesome homemade food. We strive to provide excellent customer service in all areas. We look forward to welcoming you with a smile.

Story

Our policy is to offer a safe environment for all patrons. Your safety is our priority, and after that, we aim to make your dining experience as enjoyable as possible, your night out as fun as possible and your hotel stay as comfortable as possible. We cater for all functions, and make them as perfect as you would like them, just give us a call or pop in to see us to arrange anything from a meal, to a group night out, or big celebrations, 21sts, 30ths weddings, retirement parties, christenings and much more!

Stopped here for lunch. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The sweet and sour chicken was very good but the Balmoral chicken wasn't. The whisky and marmalade sauce tasted good but was far too thick; the haggis was tasty but the chicken was so overcooked it was chewy.
We were instantly made to feel very welcome from the owner, she was great and introduced us to her lovely staff/family.nDefinitely up there with the best customer service we've experienced and the food was excellent. Really nice atmosphere and I think a lot of other places could learn a thing or two from them! First on the list for a return visit when we go back on holiday, would highly recommend to anyone, thank you!

Popped in for a drink and got such a warm welcome. We were so impressed we came back the next day for food and we were not disappointed. Amazing food and great value. We will definitely be back and would absolutely recommend!
A very warm welcome on arrival. The room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great and Sarah who served us was very pleasant and could not do enough for us. Enjoyed the stay and will definitely return.
