Ive returned after staying for a couple of days, on a spa break. I had a fantastic time. Everyone was very friendly, shout out to the lovely housekeeping ladies who complemented me on my perfume and made my day. The food was delicious, everything I had was beautiful, from the evening meals at the restaurant, to the breakfasts, The Manor Breakfast was exceptional. The spa was great, very relaxed, the pool was lovely. I had a couple of spa treatments, and a huge shout out to Janet, she gave me the best massage and facial Ive had.nnI most definitely will return
I had the pleasure of staying here for an event. The hotel is stunning, immaculate throughout with amazing period design and features. Rooms were very comfortable and the meal we had was delicious. Staff were all very helpful and polite. I will note that at breakfast, service was slow, taking half an hour to serve a cooked breakfast. That said, it was a nice breakfast. Do make sure you check where the entrance is, as it's just me to a mini roundabout and easy to miss, especially in the dark. Hopefully will get the chance to stay here again.
I had a wonderful stay at the Manor House Hotel! The room was lovely and extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax. The hotel was spotless throughout, and the breakfast was great quality with plenty of choice. The parking facilities were excellent and very convenient. Highly recommend for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!
Attended a wedding and the whole thing was lovely, the hotel was beautiful and the staff were attentive. The only thing thatvwas disappointing was the meal for children which was all ordered and arranged in advance. It was ordered as pizza and fries. Out came pepperoni pizza, when I spoke to staff as my child has a very limited diet due to neurodiversity and explained he would only eat margarita,they took it away and then returned with what I assume was the same pizza with the pepperoni picked off. You could see where it had been and also taste it. This therefore was wasted.nThe rest of the wedding was lovely and cant fault facilities but to just assume as a childrens menu they will just eat pepperoni pizza is not great!
We attend the murder mystery dinner in late November whilst the venue, food, and staff at the event were all wonderful the main event, the murder mystery, let the evening down massively!nnWe understand you may have been trying something new by getting the tables to play each character it simply didn’t work.nnThere were not enough hand out for each table. Given there were mainly mixed tables there should have been more than one hand out per table.nnIt was difficult to hear each table meaning we missed information and people became disengaged with the event. Four people on our table left after the first round they thought it was that bad.nnThe one actress coordinating the event admitted they wouldn’t do it like that again so, why do it in the first place. We expected actors playing the characters to form part of the event. Given each table had to act we think the event was somewhat overpriced.nnWe would give the venue another chance but not for a murder mystery event
