Was greeted with a smile at the bar when ordering food and drinks. I ordered the MEGA mixed grill which I thought came in a skillet plate to keep the meats hot but it was served on a standard cold plate. Can't really complain about any of it was nicely cooked and I ate the lot well almost . My dad had sausage and mash and It came with 3 onion rings ‍wich wasn't stated in the menu.
Excellent food, steak wasn't to my liking so they replaced it straight away and it was perfect, friendly staff, lots of parking
This place is a get what you pay for type of pub. The food is OK, cheap and suitable for young families; not much flavour, overcooked, etc.. You have to order at the bar so the service can't really get more than 3 stars but I've had to give it 2 because the staff behind the bar are not very attentive to the fact that there is a queue there and waiting. We went on Christmas eve and there was a bubbly atmosphere with everyone enjoying themselves. The "sizzlers" are what this place does well. I think it's always good when a restaurant tells you on the menu the dishes they are proud of. Parking: The carpark is pretty conveniently located wrapping around the pub with 2 entrance/exit access points. Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair/pram accessibility but you really need to park in the correct area of the car park as the ramp to/from the door only goes off in 1 direction.
I thought this was a really nice little pub, the food was good and the staff were friendly and polite. There were families with young children, as well as older visitors. So it seems like a good family pub. It was recommended to us by someone from the local rugby team.
Husbands meal not right, exchange no problem, plus a free dessert. Lynn was Great a good asset to the man in space. Very good for us, walking distanceFood: 5/5
First visit, thoroughly enjoyed it. Good menu choice and food was excellently cooked and served. Good atmosphere, and pleasant staff made it a place we shall visit again.
Love going here been quite a few times. Love the food it's always cooked just right . Lovely staff too , more than happy to help . First time we went was a few years ago , myself and my wife had the mixed grill , I couldn't believe it was still cooking on the hot plate they brought it was absolutely superb, We would highly recommend this place . 10 / 10 Kid-friendliness: Must of changed the child times .the whole family wanted to go last year but the kids had to be out by 8pm. Myself and my wife went tonight and the children were still in after 9pm. So we will definitely be going now . Parking: There's a large carpark so I wouldn't worry too much about that.
This pub has good vibes and is okay for a drink but the food was really poor. I ordered hunters chicken which was really dry, barely any sauce and the portion was small. My partner ordered the mixed grill which was also very dry and we were both unable to finish our meals. My partner was also quite ill after his meal - he used to rate this place but appears the food has gone a bit downhill.
Lovely friendly pub. Great atmosphere. We particularly enjoy quiz night. Good food and drink. Good value. Clean and comfortable. Staff are always polite, friendly and helpful.
Absolutely Amazing food, very tasty, excellent and very polite and engaging staff and a wonderful Head Chef. Great service from the Manager, Dave and the team.
