Very friendly doormen and the owner/manager is lovely. The live sound engineer however, is juvenile, rude and absolutely terrible at his job.  Completely ruins a very nice venue.  He kept cutting out the lights in the middle of songs. Didn't have a clue what he was doing. Constantly blasted the audience with feedback, kept going off and leaving his console while the band was still playing. The most unprofessional soundman I have ever witnessed.  One of the drunk punters could've done a better job. He needs sacking if they want to keep their customers!

Totally changed image to warm friendly and great music

Came here a few months back seen as I hadn't been a for a long while and it was under new management...it was not pleasant, disorganised and seemed more like a pub for a selected few regulars, that and it was also raided by the police not long ago doesn't give me a great impression of current ownership.

Great bar good music. But then I would say that I'm a born rocker.

Only on a Saturday night is it any good as they have a DJ on. Rest of the time its a pint and a fight place.

Had a fantastic night watching jason dale .friendly atmosphere

All ok open till late . Great off ya in to northern soul. Think it's closed down now .

Nice bar good managers and staff love the fires
