Story

A menu of beautifully presented and undeniably tasty British classics has justifiably won The Malt House high praise. Seasonality and provenance are vital and only a very select list of suppliers is favoured. The particularly thoughtful wine list, unusually arranged by country, is also worthy of remark together with the pub’s regularly updated cocktail menu.

The Malt House has six luxurious double en-suite bedrooms, named with a nod to the celebrated brewing process. These are let on a bed and breakfast basis.

Great Pub/restaurant and friendly staff. Beautiful Beer garden and always very clean. I’ve been in The Malt house several times and it’s always a pleasure.

Dog friendly pub that plays cool tunes think Ibiza chill out. We had a homemade scotch egg which was tasty and the rest of the food looked really good as it came out. Recommend the cocktails and they have a nice little terrace area out back.

Central location. What's better than a room at a pub ? :-p

Good desserts but customer service is not up to London standards, at least when I went the last time. Staff really doesn’t care about making you wait for a seat, for an order, for paying. Couple years ago was much better.
