We performed at the Lygon Arms at a last minute birthday party which was hosted there as the original venue had been flooded. The venue managed to host a party of 60 including food and drinks (and a live band) with about 4 hours' notice. Impressive!

We booked for Sunday Lunch & we arrived to smiling staff & were shown to our table. The menu was enormous, plenty of choice however My wife ordered Sunday Roast & the Beef & Ale Pie for me. The Sunday Roast was cleared off My wife’s plate with a announcement she was stuffed, The Beef Pie, what can you say forget Nuevo Cuisine this was Very Special. Well done Chef & Thank You Staff. Brilliant. We will return again, FOR PIE!!!!

It was perfect for us. We were planning on going to Hidcote Garden the next day, so happened into The Lygon Arms for the evening in Chipping Campden. It is made out of some of the local blond stone of the Cotswold's. We had eaten dinner already, but the pub was a friendly place. Breakfast was The Biggest Kipper available and the best I'd ever eaten (for me size matters). The room was spacious and had everything that we needed. Out the back of the grounds was a country trail for those who would be out on a Wander in the Cotswolds near to The Lygon Arms.

Lovely pub, went for a family reunion for an early Christmas dinner. Waitresses were engaging and quick with their service. We weren't in the main pub but in a function room adjacent to it, it was roomy and easily accommodated ~30 people. Food was brilliant, turkey not dry and beef was juicey, maybe a bit over cooked for some but it wasn't chewy at all. There only seems to be one toilet, and it's outside. Other than that every was great. I'm not too sure about the main pub itself but it seems like a good place for parties and groups.
