Really great spot for pub roast. We came in with our dog dog friendly inside. The staff were very friendly, the food was tasty mashed potatoes were spot on, and the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. The cost is a little higher than your average casual pub roast, it would be a nice touch to lay tables before guests sat down with a candle or two for example. It will be fantastic in winter with a roaring fire! And I would certainly recommend stopping in, if not for food, definitely a pint!!
Gem of a place. Stayed here on holiday exploring the Cotswold. Was a fantastic choice. The pub is lovely and food is really excellent dining. We joined them for dinner in the evening and in the morning with the stay a delicious breakfast was complementary with the room. Staff was incredibly helpful even helping me figure out how to get the shifter into reverse on my rental Peugeot. Room was clean and tidy and quiet and gave us some much needed rest. The town of Chipping Camden is just great. Can’t recommend this place any more highly. You won’t be disappointed.
Stunning pub/restaurant if your staying or visiting Chipping Campden. Really dog friendly, very tasty food and great service. The Sunday roasts are delicious. The team are so kind and accommodating. We will definitely be returning!!
Excellent food, staff, and atmosphere! I'm lactose intolerant and was able to find options because they show allergens on the menu. Dog friendly also! I got to meet a few furry friends which topped off our dinner.
We visited the town on a Saturday lunchtime and, on our walk from the carpark, noticed this Inn. We went to explore the the high street and came back to the Eight Bells for lunch. It's a lovely building with a great ambience inside...proper busy country Inn stuff...they welcome dogs too. We were quickly shown to a table and ordered coffee, two sausage and onion ciabatta's, and thick cut chips....boom!! Absolutely lovely food, fabulous service, and you can really tell that this Inn is managed properly and with real passion....a great place for lunch.
Went here with my wife for sunday lunch. Although we hadn’t booked the staff were really friendly and found us a table. Great food, great beer and lovely people in a traditional old pub.
We stopped in for afternoon tea on a whim and I’m so glad we did. It has a very cozy atmosphere and the food was delicious! Their cakes are especially good.Service: 5/5
A perfect Christmas Eve supper after carols in thee beautiful Chipping Campden church. Every member of our party enjoyed the great food and drink and the merry atmosphere….an amazing start to a traditional family Christmas
Beautiful cosy pub who kindly fitted us in at a busy time. Service was fab, everyone friendly. Food delicious and didn't have to wait. Highly recommended. Xx
such a beautiful part of the cotswolds, the eight bells pub is stunning, lovely and old with many traditional features, including a old underground pathway to the church in the breakfast room. We had a 1 night stay, amazing comfy bed and very warm room, nice and spacious with a great large shower, we had our evening meal here too, we had booked this online as reccomended, they get very busy, the food was lovely, and so was our breakfast, highly reccomend this place. There is free street parking outside the pub, but your be luckly to get a space, but there is plenty on street parking at the bottom of the hill, left and on the right too.
