We called in here last night before a show at the opera house we ordered food but as the food is all cooked fresh and we're late arriving due to weather conditions the food was not out in time for us to get to the show so the waitress very kindly put all our food into take away cartons and wrapped them up to keep them warm. We ate our food at the show interval and it was still warm and one of the best burgers I have ever had so if u want great food and great service in a friendly comfortable atmosphere at reasonable prices this place is well worth a visit will definitely return with more time to sit and eat and enjoy the experience

AVOID THIS PLACE. I attended on Sunday the 25th Feb 2018 with a group. The waiting on staff were atrocious. There was one waitress in particular, she was an older female with no customer service skills what-so-ever, she was banging around and clearly in a bad mood (my advice for her is that she needs to get a job that does not require customer service skills and is not customer facing) I could see the younger female was kind of and behaving in this way - but much more milder. As mentioned, no manners from the staff, food quality was poor and the wait-long. The real Ale came out of a Bottle! We were not asked if we wanted drinks until we ordered food (you lost out on us having more drinks), no paper towels in the toilet, unclean toilets, no condiments in bottles, just small sachets, and when I asked if they had some tomato sauce - I was told and glared at: "whats there is all there is" and she pointed at the box on the table. The food was dry, and greasy. Based upon the service from the staff - I strongly advice people to AVOID this place. When I am next in Buxton I will not be going back. If any management read this, you really need to sort your staff out. It cost's nothing to be polite, nice and professional. I could have over looked the food, toilets and other things, if the service was good - but as I have made clear, it is terrible (or at least the staff on Sunday were).

Great food, massive portions. I'm a vegetarian so was a bit sceptical but I loved my food..... nandos take note, nice food and large portions for the same price you charge, I know where I'd rather go.

Nice looking menu and decor, but the crappy dance music on loop ruins the ambience. Good selection of drinks and did a good margarita cocktail. However, chicken that came with the kids fajitas was clearly straight out of a packet and microwave defrosted - to the point it was still served up in half an inch of water! Advertises itself as family friendly but the adult meals didn't turn up until well after the kids had finished theirs - not helpful! Despite the long wait the food quality was average at best, steak in the 'special' surf and turf enchiladas in particular was tough as old boots. Wouldn't recommend.

Not just fantastic, this place is my favourite.. Can be a little chilly if your near a window but the food is amazing
