We found this beautiful pub/restaurant whilst walking along the River Avon from The Bath Waterside Marina & Caravan Park. It took us about 15 minutes to walk here. The building is huge with plenty of indoor seating in various sections, there is also a large outside area with overhead covering. Very unique and quirky. The atmosphere was lovely with nice background music being played. The pub was full of fantastic features and included a wealth of information and history about the place. The place was very clean and well kept. The barmaid was very welcoming and friendly. Overall a fantastic pub, in a fabulous location with great staff. Totally recommend. We only had a drink so cannot comment on the food.
We love this place. Visited again on Bank Holiday Monday at around 2:15 pm. Place was busy as expected. Ordered the calamari for starters, the burger and fish & chips for mains along with rocket and parmesan as a side dish. All meals were cooked to perfection and the portions were generous. I'm a man with a huge appetite and I had trouble finishing the food. If you are looking for outstanding pub food with generous portions, quality ingredients and probably the tastiest chips in the city you can't go wrong with The Locksbrook Inn. This venue has a great ambience, super friendly and efficient staff as well as a great view of the canal. Thank you for a great afternoon!
The Locksbrook brunch menu should be commended.  A lot of it can be done gluten free and there are options for vegetarian and vegan coeliacs.  Full 4* review of our lovely full English breakfast at coeliacwellnes.com.  An improvement in their vegan latte split milk and the bread stale would boost their score, but the team member that served us was phenomenal.  Will definitely return, if nothing else to ask him how he can hold that many requests in his head!
Excelkent roast pork lunch here, probably best I have had in a pub. Good location, nice inside and great staff who are friendly and helpful. A very good pub and not scarily priced either.
Got to say this was a disappointingly frustrating visit. Read the reviews and it points towards having to visit. In fairness the atmosphere is lovely and the food just as nice, but a 90 minute wait for food is just unacceptable. Also the management let the waitress who incidentally was lovely try and manage a situation beyond their control. Really poor, no care for their staff or customers. Won't be going back. Parking: About 10 spaces for an establishment that can accommodate over a 100 people.
Delicious food . Obviously popular as we were fortunate to get seating for 10 of us by the river. Really good service. Look forward to visiting again. Parking: Plenty of street parking. Good accessibility
Great fresh food with an excellent view of the river plenty of indoor and outdoor seating space.
We stopped for a pint and a bite to eat at this nice pub on the river. The service was very good as was the food : we shared the meat board and a portion of thick-cut chips. The food was abundant, tasty and well-presented. The price was reasonable, too so will definitely be going back.
Stop for coffee in the morning, nice but it could have been a lot hotter. Went back in the evening for an anniversary, had the steak which was cooked to perfection and then had the "mini sticky toffee pudding" and if that's a mini what's the full one like, the staff were really good and very friendly and attentive making sure all tables were looked after. Can recommend it.
Lovely atmosphere, and most of the food. Unfortunately my meal was spoiled by an extremely salty peppercorn sauce. Returned the food and they prepared another fresh plate but sauce remained just as salty. Overall though, would go again as chips were really good, and husband's burger was nice.
