We came here without knowing that this establishment only serves vegan/vegetarian menu, but we finished eating realizing that this is one of the best vegetarian cafe out there. We love everything, from the friendliness of the staffs, the settings, and the foods we ordered! The food was awesome, especially the vegan cheese. However, I need to give them their service 4 out of 5, we asked for tap water for multiple times but seems like they forgot - the water never arrived.
This place is overflowing with happy vibes and great atmosphere. We went on Mother's day and they still managed to squeeze us in after being fully booked for 2 weeks on that day. The food was great and the lovely greek goddess was so friendly and helpful to help make Mother's Day special for my wife. The only thing that let it down was the coffee - maybe they had a different barista than their usual one. I would have given 5 stars but the coffee ruined it. Definitely will go back for food only, well done anyway
Really lovely place, staff were attentive. Mushrooms on toast was nice, expected crispy kale though. "Rooted" breakfast was nice but didn't expect it to be served on top of the toast. Nevertheless we cleaned our plates! Definitely would return if back in Bath, the restaurant had a good vibe...nice people Vegetarian options: Exclusively Vegetarian and vegan.
We arrived just before our booking at 12.30pm and were quickly seen to by Estelle who guided us to our table. We had a table for five in the corner of the restaurant. We settled in and Mimi guided us through the menu and the specials for this month. She was very insightful and explained the meals in great detail! Mimi took our drinks order and they arrived timely, especially considering that the restaurant was fully booked due to Father's Day! We then ordered our mains, and I chose the month special - a vegan burger! We ordered a variety of meals which arrived together and tasted amazing. Very impressed with the quality and exceptional service we received. Mimi checked in to ensure the food was going well! Had a great experience and would definitely recommend!
The food is incredibly well made and exceptionally tasty. The staff are very friendly, warm and polite. Went for my birthday lunch and staff were so incredibly kind. Second time of visiting and will certainly be heading back for any occaision.
Have been to Rooted six or seven times now and the food has blown me away every time. Veggie or not, you will find something to wow your taste-buds. Atmosphere is great, staff are friendly and attentive. Today, we were sitting in their outdoors area and rain began to get through the tarp onto me and my partner; the staff were so observant and without us saying a word, came and re-seated us inside the moment an indoors table opened up. Have tried several dishes now but the Indian Breakfast is still by far my fave if you're not sure what to go for! Though everything else has been delicious too!
This place is super special! Lovely team, decor, and food. Tried a few things on the menu from smoothies, mains, and desserts - everything has been 5 stars on each visit. Thank you Rooted
Visited on a busy weekday afternoon, there was only one table free. Service was good none the less, the food was very good with excellent presentation. My only criticism would be that the emphasis was on presentation rather than portion size. Other than that, excellent vegan food.
New: We love this place so much, we come every time we're in Bath, today no exception! Excellent service and just amazing food! Have no idea how they flavor the tofu but it's the best scrambled tofu I've ever tasted! Original: Lovely café. Good amount of seating in the sun with quaint outside area. Excellent food and service and lovely unique drinks. Great for vegans with adjustable menu! We were a walk-in for the breakfast and got a seat right away.
Had lunch with my son. He had vegetarian burger and I had an Indian breakfast. Both had mango lassie. All very tasty and friendly staff Want to go back!
