Amazing joint. Sarah the waitress is brilliant. Ordered a roast three years ago from the old owners and today the new owners gave it to me. Excellent fish and chips too. Taunton legends.

Had a delicious Thai lunch here with 3 kids under five. Well laid out with relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and the waitress attentive and helpful. Would definitely return to sample more of the menu
Great service and greeting on arrival. Our meal was good. We did not try the new menu. As several of our party have dietary restrictions. We had booked by telephone, it was not explained that the menu had changed until we arrived, after traveling 20 miles we decided to stay. The restaurant is now Thai.
Great food, friendly and professional staff. Not the cheapest by a long way but you get what you pay for and with the current economic climate it should be expected. Good night out

My partner and I ate at the Letherbridge last night and the food was so delicious. It was a quieter evening for the pub/ restaurant, so the Chef, a lovely Thai lady came out once we had finished to ask how our meals we're and had a chat with us, making the meal alot more personal. When we settled the bill we booked in again for 2 weeks time so we'll definitely be going back.
We have been to The Lethbridge Arms several times now since the new owners took over. Usually we book on the easy to use on-line reservation system, but it was all last minute this time so just rolled up. Initally concerned we wouldnt get in because the place looked packed. The old farmer propping up the bar helpfully explained that there was only one waitress on that night due to illness. However after a couple of minutes Sarah came over with a bright smile and did find us a table. In spite of the fullness of the resturant our order was taken in the usual prompt time span and we settled down with our bottle of wine and first course, followed by the second. All served with her cheery smile and aplomb. How she managed to keep that whole resturant under control on her own we will never know, but it was obvious she had the running of the front of house down to a tee. The meal was delicious and the chef still managed to make her normal walk around to check everything was correct. Our new favorite place.
Stayed here whilst visiting the area in April 2019. Rambling old building with lots of character and period charm in a sleepy village location just a short walk from the West Somerset Railway station. Evening meal was great, bar well stocked and cosy and prices reasonable. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Minor issue with my room booking but I got upgraded as a result so no problem there. Bed was very comfortable and room had everything I wanted. Being an old building there are a fair few steps and differences in floor levels but that's part of the charm. Excellent cooked breakfast which also catered for vegetarians we gave them notice though. The only points that stopped me giving a 5* were the noise in the morning from the kitchen extract fan below my room and the shower - the blast from the water was so strong I had trouble keeping the shower head in the holder! Would certainly stay again.
