I have been visiting the theatre for the past 8 years watching my daughter perform in her annual dance show and also performed at dance competition held here. It's a lovely local theatre, and regardless of where you sit, you always have a great view of the stage. They have a small cafe where you can purchase light refreshments. There is a small car park opposite or plenty of parking nearby in the Swan centre.
A group of friends all went to see Celebrating George Michael. It was fantastic. As I'm supposed to be reviewing the venue, I'll concentrate on that. It was my first visit there. It's, what I would call, the perfect size. Not only for theatre productions, I'm sure, but for musical performances such as Celebrating George Michael, and all other musical events. The venue had a perfect layout, was very clean and freshly decorated, great bar and selection of beverages, lavatory facilities, easy access, good and ample parking nearby. It was a perfect night out.
Lovely theatre nWent there for a recent show it was superb. Very roomy and such a comfy decor and good vibe feeling. Plus the coffee shops and the tables and seats in the lounge are just great
Hmmm - what to say? I mean, the auditorium is very good, the staff are very pleasant, it's pretty comfortable, but it could do with some TLC. It's a bit shabby. My wife put her arm on the arm rest of her seat and it the arm rest fell off. It's so poorly signed from the outside that I would have walked straight past the theatre. Still, it's a likeable place - and that really matters.nnPro tip: there is a main bar and a kind of satellite with a couple of draft beers. You would think that the interesting beers would be at the main bar - quite the reverse. To my mind, at least, the tiny satellite has a far better selection.
Really nice spacious theatre…also has a cafeteria for quick bites…in the middle of high street so very approachable via public transport
