A group of friends all went to see Celebrating George Michael. It was fantastic. As I'm supposed to be reviewing the venue, I'll concentrate on that. It was my first visit there. It's, what I would call, the perfect size. Not only for theatre productions, I'm sure, but for musical performances such as Celebrating George Michael, and all other musical events. The venue had a perfect layout, was very clean and freshly decorated, great bar and selection of beverages, lavatory facilities, easy access, good and ample parking nearby. It was a perfect night out.
Really nice spacious theatre…also has a cafeteria for quick bites…in the middle of high street so very approachable via public transport
Went to watch Robin Hood Pantomime this morning and it was brilliant!!! Immersive entertainment for all ages! My two and four year old sons loved it as did my husband and I with all the funny innuendos scattered through! It really exceeded our expectations and we now plan on making this a Christmas tradition!nSuperb acting, singing and dancing from all the cast.nWe loved it and are so lucky to have this wonderful theatre on our doorstep.nUse it or lose it!nBravo to all!
Watched Manon was beautiful and amazing. Love to watch the Royal Ballet on the big screen.nnI would really recommend for you to go and watch a ballet. Can see more and cheaper ticketsnnCan't wait to watch Madam Butterfly and Swan Lake in March 2024
Always difficult to distinguish between your feelings for the venue and those for the performance you saw ... but I liked this theatre.nnIt's a bit stark and bare in places but the auditorium is comfortable with good seating and acoustics and the staff are friendly and helpful.
