This is a great location for lunch, and it is quite popular, so if you don’t like queues, like myself, come here closer to 2pm. I liked very much their toasted sandwiches and ciabattas, and their soups were great too. You can even get a sandwich with Polish sausage, which is very tasty and completely unknown for the greatest majority of Brits.

Lovely Friendly place with reasonably priced delicious food. Can get very busy but you can book a table. Take away available too. Shuts after lunch to open as a bistro in the evening.

First and last experience of this place. Food was ok but truly awful customer service. Firstly I asked for some toast for a 3 yr old but was told I could have a slice of bread as they will only toast bread for breakfast. Really? Well it was 11.30 I suppose. Secondly arguing with the customer over what they ordered makes for a terrible customer experience even though there were other people in the party that clearly heard what we ordered especially since I was paying and we were all at the counter together. My 11 yr old was quite stunned by the waitress’ behaviour. Worded differently she could have got more money out of us without anyone objecting to how appalling her levels of customer service were. Will not be returning.

Had the salmon skewers. My mum's was ok...mine was awful. Smelt and tasted off...completely different to my mum's. The staff didn't appreciate the bad feedback and got no apologies...almost saying I was lying. Terrible customer service!!

I have been to this café several times before. This morning was the first time I have actually felt threaten by another customer. Two elderly ladies shouted at my 10 mo baby for making noise. They shouted 'Make it stop', to which I reply that they could have asked politely. Every one there turned around but no one said a word to them. This is a family café! When my friend went to complaint to the manager, she said she does not get involved in this type of dispute. Awful way to make your customers feel unsafe at a family café. We know we will never be setting food ever again there.
