Had a pleasant time at the laundry. Arrived just at 1 and so missed the brunch menu which was a shame as I personally liked more of what was on there and it felt better priced. The lunch / dinner menu was a bit pricier than ideal but still good food. All of the party enjoyed their meals and the service was warm, even though sometimes they had forgotten they had taken an update to the order. No major issues though and would visit again.
I had a very lovely meal here this week. The avocado on cornbread was very filling and a great vegan option. I really liked the charred corn which was quite flavourful. I also liked that they were considerate enough to have blankets at every table outside. The service was also excellent. This would have been five stars if the coffee was better. It was quite bland.
Went here for a Sunday Roast! We ordered the pork belly one with a side of cheese cauliflower, both tasted good and the portion is large! Love the ambiance in the resto and would definitely come back but remember to book in advanced as they’re usually packed :
We have been meaning to come here for the last year but never got round to it. Really glad we finally managed it as the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. We had breakfast on a Sunday, always a busy time in Brixton. The Laundry was very busy, but there was room for us inside where we sat at some stools. I had the veggie breakfast which is the best one I've ever had. Extremely tasty. Coffee was very nice as well. Service was with a smile and we were made to feel very welcome.
Stopped by for a lunch and was blown away at the pasta! Such fantastic food, can’t recommend highly enough. The staff were attentive but not overly so.
This is my favourite Sunday brunch spot in Brixton. The food is great I am yet to try more things from the menu and if you're lucky enough to get some sun, the terrace can be such a lovely place.
I had a sausage brioche bap, it was okay but nothing to write home about or come back for. My friends thought the same about the fry up. Service was great though
Popped in without reservation on a busy Sunday morning and the staff were incredibly accommodating. We mentioned offhand it was one of our birthdays- not expecting anything- and our lovely waitress Annette brought out complimentary cocktails and a birthday cake cookie with candles! So lovely and completely unprompted. Had a lovely brunch together and will definitely be returning.
Fantastic little find with a great menu of delicious food and excellent, friendly customer service. My only gripe, you have to wait until 3.30pm to be served anything other than breakfast from the menu on a Saturday, so we spent an hour and a half sharing a portion of toasted banana bread with homemade honeycomb butter and sipping a divine bottle of Midi Rose blush killing time on the chic terrace in the glorious sunshine, the main was worth the wait!
Great place for a meal. We had a mix of ages and everyone loved it. Tasty food, good choice of drinks and extremely accommodating and friendly staff. We had a baby and one with a peanut allergy and we're catered for so well. Thanks to Raymond and the other staff who served us! Dietary restrictions: They mark gf and VG on menu. Staff knew about the nuts and were reassuring and helpful.
