Football Academy again today to watch the kids play. The pitches are behind the Academy and part of the training complex. It's free to go watch them and you usually have a couple of games on of a Saturday morning. It's grassroots football in a City shirt. You can see part of The Etihad and the Academy Stadium and also the first team and women's training area
This place is beautiful, I feel calm when I come here, and everything has already been said about the legend with whom I share this little bench. #lovealanturing
Quiet place to sit and chill. You can read about the life, achievements and death of Alan Turing, and also about the apology given to him from the Prime Minister
Rip to a real LGBT+ icon. If you ever illegally download music or get cyberbullied on ps5, you can thank this king
It's a good, clean park in the city center. It's easy to find and can be a great spot to think/clear your head. They have some information about Alan Turing and his work but I'll appreciate if they could add more. But it's still a good place. Don't forget to take a selfie with Alan!
Lovely little park with a great memorial. Worth a small detour.
Wonderful park, we can visit Alan Turing statue here
It's great to meet your hero even if he is immortalised in brass
Beautiful monument. It is a story many need to learn, he changed the outcome of the war but was not recognised till after the war. I feel it should have more presence. But the whole park is a nice little place to stop to sit or have a wonder around
He helped to change the world. It's a quiet and subtle memorial to the man in pleasant gardens on the fringe of Manchester's centre and, appropriately, adjacent to its Gay Village.
