A lovely little coffee shop by Clissold Park. They serves us an absolutely amazing oat milk cappuccino but what takes the cake pun intended is really just the service you get there. We felt so welcome and well-looked after that we were tempted to get a second coffee immediately after our first cup. They also serve pastries, cakes, ice cream and lasagne so everyone will find something to nibble on, sweet or savoury.
First time, won't be the last in this beautiful Italian coffee shop. The speciality of this place are the ferratelle, kind of Italian flat waffle/cookie absolutely fantastic. Plenty of options and outstanding coffee. Cheers
Recently visited this cafe with a friend of mine and was shocked at the service. The brunette barista was horrible and disrespectful and made us feel like a laughing stock in front of all the other customers. While serving us she said “ you can carry on your conversation elsewhere” and then shooed us out of the cafe. When confronted she said “ did you expect an apology from me?” and told us to leave. Very horrible experience and disappointing as I do frequently visit this cafe with family. It’s a very bad image for the business and I hope some changes are made. She refused to give us her name and refused to get her manager.
The current team there are really lovely, and the coffee is good. On another note, I cannot believe how rude some customers can be. When it's busy, you can expect to wait a few minutes. No need to moan at the staff!
Very friendly staff, free wifi and all things homemade organic food. Practically my local. Very business friendly with plugs for laptop users. Love this place. Loads of veggie and healthy options despite the ever so scrumptious baked sweet & savoury treats.
Had crossed this cute little cafe 2-3 times on my walks and loved the decor so much that thought will definitely visit on the weekend! Just next to Clissold Park this cute little cafe has good coffee n good food! They serve a variety of food to choose from. It is an italian coffee boutique. We were the first one’s to enter maybe and just after that 5-6 people entered. Their were just two girls who were doing the inventory so they got a little overwhelmed. The service thus was a little slow but I dont blame them it is okay. The stuff was fresh, tasty and worth the money but I hoped it could be a little warmer. On a cold morning if the coffee is a little warm then it makes the walk a little more pleasurable! They also have some authentic Italian cakes and goodies for sale, so feel free to buy! They have seatings so I think will be a wonderful spot for summer. The best part is the location. I have a pro tip! If you are around: grab a cup of coffee from here and walk onto Petherton Greens. It is a pretty road surrounded by houses and a walkway in the center with some benches. So sit there and just enjoy the calm nature and thank me later
This place is one of my favorite in the area. The staff is always welcoming and very nice and the pastries and coffee are absolutely great. It's also a very nice and cozy place to spend some time after a park walk. Thumbs up!
Became a fan of this place after ordering Too Good to Go bags and always eager to come back! Excellent service, super friendly and polite staff, delicious food especially carrot cake, and marvellous location close to my favourite Clissold Park. Thank you and keep it up!
The 'Classic' smoothie had little to no actual fruit in it and instead was a room temperature frothy yoghurt... The sandwiches were defo not worth £7 and, again, were room temperature. Service was fine and the interior is lovely. Nonetheless, go to New River Café round the corner instead.
Yet another independent coffee shop which refuses to accept cash. I won't be dictated to that I have to pay by card/contact less rather than use the legal national currency. Unfortunately, I didn't get to sample any food or drink from here. I'll continue to buy only from outlets that take cash, which oddly appears to be only the larger chains.
