I've been to this charming pub a few times. You're always greeted by friendly staff and the passionate, hardworking landlady/landlord. The atmosphere is spot on and I have to say the homemade pies are well worth the trip -you certainly won't leave hungry.
Great little family run village pub! Made to feel very welcome on our first visit to this pub by staff and locals. Fantastic traditional pub food, great size portions, friendly and accommodating service. Can certainly recommend the Steak and Ale pie, it was delicious. You certainly won’t be leaving this pub hungry!!
Really cosy and friendly pub. Wonderful range of beers and ciders served to perfection. Won 'Pub of the Year' from MK and North Bucks CAMRA three times which must be a record. They are worthy winners; such a lovely place to visit.
Had a Sunday roast. Service was good. Food was good. Veg were crisp and tasty.
Had a really good evening here tonight watching a band playing. The couple behind the bar are really welcoming and good fun, and the atmosphere was great. There was also this cool dog that I wanted to take a photo of but didn't get a chance so drew you a sketch, see attached.
Food absolutely top notch with decent portions. Friendly attentive service. The restaurant could definitely benefit from a modernisation however.
Such a friendly welcome, really enjoyed a lovely meal here, bangers and mash with gravy, followed by treacle sponge and custard. Delicious! Not a huge menu and that's a good thing, the food is very good. Walked away with a full belly and a smile.
Another great pub. I'm always reviewing pubs.....
