Visited The Carrington Arms one Saturday and stayed overnight. A fantastic place! The rooms are brilliant value for money, very up to date too. Coffee machines, showers which are excellent, clean and modern. We got room service, the food was excellent, really fresh and a varied menu to suit all. I will definitely return, it's in a perfect location close to major A roads and Milton Keynes. Better experience and better value than any major hotel chain.
Stayed here for a night and had a meal before a conference. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well supplied. Dinner was really good with a great wine list for bonus points. The veggie breakfast was a bit disappointing but dinner was so nice it more than makes up for it.Rooms: 5/5
Great! Five stars if it was closer to home and I didn't have to drive. The menu was varied, as was the wine list, and the food well cooked and presented. Service was delightful and the final cost excellent value. Definitely recommended - but you need to book ahead.Service: 5/5
Went for a meal here with a large group of 16 people. The food came out in a good time and was of a high standard which you would expect for the price. The steak counter is novel actually seeing your cut before it goes on the grill. For large groups they have tab cards which made splitting the bill incredibly easy.Service: 5/5
This was our second stay at the Carrington Arms and I'm please to say that, once again, our experience was first class. Young, friendly, personable staff, great food and a very comfortable room at extremely competitive prices. We travel from Dorset to visit relations who live in the area and we will always stay at the Carrington, it's just not worth bothering to look elsewhere. Well done team, keep up the great standards!
So grateful to have this treasure on the doorstep. Top quality dishes served up by top-drawer staff, in a great location. Really good at everything, with a menu that covers all the tastes that I've heard of, including the wine. Highly recommended.Service: 5/5
The room was very spacious, well equipped and extremely clean. Great value for money. The restaurant was very busy but we were not kept waiting. The food was delicious especially the scallops - probably some of the best I have ever had.
My husband booked a table for my birthday, it was nice and quiet 4:30 pm service was very good, food was good but wasn't impressed with our porterhouse steakme and husband sharedit was fatty and not that hot, everyone else enjoyed their dishes, they had fish and chips, bugers, sausage and mash and our son had a steak too. Overall a lovely restaurant but I expected the steak to be nicer for the £69 we paid having had the same steak in other places.
Joined for a meal on recommendation from a friend. We started with the gorgeous baked camembert, delicious with the granola crunch and the bread was beautifl. Soft, fluffy and full of flavour. We all had steak and this was stunning. We got to request the type of meat and the amount of cut we'd like. We ordered to our tastes mine is blue and they were cooked to perfection. The garlic and rosemary butter sauce was The several sides we ordered and shared were all delicious. We cleared the table. Afterwards we enjoyed they very rich, decedant pudding. The sticky toffee was gorgeous. Lovely atmosphere, good park, nice posh pub feel. Staff were excellent. Attentive without being overbearing and only a smile away if you needed anything. Chefs were approachable, friendly and offered suggestions of cuts and cooking. Would 100% return and recommend.
Lovely meal celebrating my 50th. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy. The food was excellent. Good choice of wines and beers. All local produce where possible. Highly recommended.
