We had a fantastic lunch here. We didn't pre-book but managed to get a table. We ordered our food and drinks, which came out soon after. Absolutely no complaints about our food. The fish was perfectly cooked, the chips hand cut, the sticky toffee pudding, delicious. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. We never stayed at the hotel but can recommend eating here.
Didnt stay over night, just stopped in for a bar lunch. Small portion of fish n chips with a latte for me and the hubby. Small portion was still too much for me, fish perfectly cooked, chips were good.nOverall service was good, quick and friendly. Have always had good food here so will keep dropping in!
Really enjoyed our o/night stay at Kirkland's. The veggie green curry was a really nice change after a week and half travelling. The Omelette breaky in the morning was great and we both slept really well as the room and area were very quiet. Nice chat with the Owner over early breaky hopefully next time we are over from Australia we can stay longer.
After travelling for most of the day, we called at Loch Leven and called into the castle shop. The very nice bloke who served me recommended The Kirkland Hotel for a bite to eat. It was around 3pm.nAfter looking at the food menu we popped in and asked if they had a table for two. We said we had not booked to the girl looking at the tablet. Another lady approached and said they were having a break and would not be serving until 4pm.nVery disappointing, especially when you have been recommended and your food serving times at the weekend, does not state a break!
Went with a friend for Sunday lunch. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, my fish was beautifully cooked and the salad was full of flavour. My friends roast beef lunch was also delicious. Recommend!
