Story

it on the decking overlooking the Loch and relax taking in the breathtaking scenery and listen to the birdsong or catch a sight of the Osprey fishing for trout, while enjoying one of our freshly made dishes with either a coffee or something stronger. Blankets and heaters are provided for you on cooler days…

Enjoy The Boathouse Cheese Board, where you will find a selection of wonderful cheese, fruit cake, oatcakes and selection of other nibbles to enjoy with a crisp glass of white… Or Pimms! Our cakes are made by an award winning pastry chef and we specialise in hand made individual cakes and gateaux. Weekends bring Portueguese custard tarts and fresh mixed fruit tarts. We will only make a few of these and when they’re are gone they’re gone!

On colder, wet days sit inside by the woodburner, keeping cosy, watching the weather roll over the loch, with a warm mug of home made hot chocolate with mallows or a warm bowl of home made soup.

The Boathouse is open from 10am, for light breakfasts, which we do serve all day. With a selection of fabulous lunches where attention to detail is key. Weekends we are open till 10pm where the chef creates a small menu packed with flavours! All our food is locally sourced whenever we can.
