Walked in without a reservation and got a table thankfully. Nice service with a smile which is always a bonus. Had some lovely food see photos. The Sea Trout was perfect and nicely accompanied by veg. My other half had the steak and ale pie which was superb and served with really nice mash potatoes. Definitely a place to visit but book ahead as by the time we left it was full.
Went for lunch with my two ladies! Three mains and two desserts were exceptionally good - we are only in the area for a week but will likely fit in another visit here. Good menu, a great range of non-alcoholic drinks and the young lady who looked after us could not have been more pleasant.
Had a lovely overnight stay at the Weekend room was very spacious comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was really nice and well presented the owner was lovely very helpful and friendly will definitely return.
This place is now like a disused motelnnThe heating does not work It’s cold and Erie with no life in the place. It’s very scary staying here and to be honest it’s the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.nnCan’t believe they have closed the restaurant and bar. I am a returning guest and not to be informed is disrespectful and disgusting. I come to a hotel so I can have a drink and a meal but not to be even get informed is discussing.nnThe owner has destroyed this hotel good and proper. It’s now got no heart just a bare shell of a building and I definitely won’t be returning.
Meal for party of four. My food was excellent standard. Two starters and dessert. 5 out of 5 for halloumi sticks, mushroom bruschetta and apple and pear crumble. Others rated food 4 out of 5. Staff were great.
