Our receptionist was very welcoming and informative. The room was clean and the super king bed was very comfy. Housekeeping was short of staff and the room was unserviced on the first morning. Next day we met our room maid. We told her not to bother with our room, but she gave us more tea making supplies and emptied our full bin. She stressed that we only had to ask if we required anything, but was relieved to have one less room to clean. We chose not to eat in the evenings as the menu was limited and overpriced. Breakfast was included but basic items had to be requested as it was not provided ie butter, marmalade, napkins, sauces.

We had afternoon tea for two in the restaurant, early afternoon. We were the only two in there which was so nice. :) I said to my other half that I hired the whole restaurant out for her! :D We had been given a voucher as a Christmas present which included a glass of Prosecco. They made the experience special with traditional music from the likes of Frank Sinatra. Great location overlooking the sea. V. friendly staff. For those that like to know what you are given: A large pot of Tea or Coffee, three different soldier sandwiches,two scones with clotted cream, three different Macaroons and two different pieces of cake. Very nice experience!!!

Nice and cosy hotel....bit too far from the centre and the amenities...Good food and friendly people... clean and comfortable room!

Have stayed here and am pleased to say it is now my local Bar to pop into for a pint. Excellent place to eat, drink and relax.
