Perfect location for clacton sea front,  5 minutes walk from the pier.  Restaurants and take away food shops everywhere you look!! Stayed in the Langtry for 15 nights.  Room was quite small with a tiny shower that slowly dripped water from even when in use.   Bed was really comfortable,  staff really pleasent and breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Car park on site was handy when we could get a space.

Just had  3 nights at the langtry hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, very clean and staff helpful. The location was great with everything right on your doorstep.

The rooms are clean and modern. The breakfast is good. And the staff are polite and helpful. It is an old building but its obvious the staff work hard to bring it up to date and keep the place very tidy. The bathrooms are small but useable.I would happily stay again.

Decent beds, all facilities you'd expect. Perfectly situated for the beach, pier and amenities. Only downside is early morning activities outside (bin lorries etc) around 6am. Not in any way the hotel's fault and totally beyond their control.
