We stumbled over this beautiful pub on Easter Monday drive, & I’m very pleased to say we all had a lovely meal. On our order it was Fish & chips & 2 homemade burgers & chips. The homemade burgers were so juicy & tasted homemade. The staff, so kind & welcoming. I hope to store this place for a future visit. Thank you.
We just finished an excellent meal with drinks at lunchtime on a Saturday. We moved away eight years ago and haven’t been here since then, but we will make the effort to come back soon. Every aspect of the experience was excellent; the cask ale, wine and meals were top drawer. And it all came wrapped in a very pleasant atmosphere with extraordinary customer service. The staff were all very personable, polite and accommodating. Excellent village pub…Polebrook is lucky to have it.
This is a traditional pub in a beautiful village. We received a very warm welcome & the service was efficient with no wait to be served. Outside is a lovely pub garden & decent-sized car park. A pleasant place to have a drink. We didn't eat this time but in the past the food was exceptional. Recommended.
We went to the kings Arms in polebrook on a recommendation on a Thursday lunchtime. The staff were really welcoming and the food was lovely. We arrived as they were closing for food but the guys made room for us and made us feel really welcome. Would highly recommend. Lovely place.
Nice enough pub with friendly bar staff. Prices are steep but it is a rural village so to be expected - about £12 for 2 pints and some crisps, for reference. We wanted food but kitchen was closed - will update when we know!
Our favorite pub. A welcoming and cozy atmosphere, amazing food, top notch service, and a stunning location. This pub is for sure worth a visit. The staff and chef are fantastic!

Excellent food, excellent venue and brilliant staff. Had a party at the Kings Arms for my birthday and wedding anniversary yesterday evening. We couldn't been treated any better and will definitely go back.
Great atmosphere, fab service and great food! My partner had steak and I had pork belly, big portions and worth every penny Left feeling full and satisfied, can’t wait to go back!! Will recommend to all my family!!
Pretty awful meal last night. Two fat ridden, unedible steaks for £40. With a drinks a meal that came to £64. Comment from staff 'we'll let the butcher know' :
