The Duty Manager and our server Vicky were great, but the salad server was very tight with his portions, and had his thumb on a piece of cucumber. Are the being served by someone and the tiny bowls part of cost saving measures? They can hardly be Covid-related with no masks being worn. The floor was dirty too.
Incredible service! Honestly the wait staff at this restaurant were spectacular, best I’ve ever seen in my life. Especially Daisy! The UK are pretty famous for having poor customer service but it was just the right mix of friendly but not over the top like in the US. The food was amazing as well, great value for money. Was expecting it to be way more expensive! And they have unlimited drinks refills with the different flavour syrups. 10/10, 5 stars, we visited on Monday and we’re coming back on Saturday!
It’s been a while since I’ve been to a harvester and it’ll be a while before I return, portions were embarrassing really, and I ordered a quarter chicken & Ribs which taste wise we’re ok but for £15 with a large chips and a piece of chicken that looked like someone had ripped it’s leg off and put it on my plate was poor! I’ve had more chicken on a wing! The salad bar they had all the lettuce was brown and looked says old along with most of the items there so didn’t really touch that, service wasn’t great either, I asked about the chicken and all I was told is it can’t be changed as it’s company policy!! I’m giving 2 stars because I enjoyed the dessert! Apart from that, it was poor!
Very friendly staff. Food was very good and came out in very quickly. Very clean and good atmosphere. Good layout of the restaurant. Lovely outdoor space which was dog friendly. Only gave a four star as the salad bar was not as good as other harvester restaurants I have been too. Such as potato salad and better selection of pasta. Not many selections of bread rolls. One other thing my daughter raised to the branch was that other harvesters we have been too have had salad forks on the table which is a nice touch. My daughter told our waitress and she said she will inform the manager to see if it could be added as made eating the salad easier. Overall a great place to go for food. Plates where very nice compared to plain white plates. I would recommend to experience. Kid-friendliness: Very good for children, children given stuff to colour in whilst waiting for food. Seem to have a good amount of highchairs. Maybe some steps in toilets to help get on to toilet as none in men's toilet. Parking: Good amount of parking, well lit up. Dietary restrictions: Our waitresses asked if any allergies and I overheard another asking at another table so seemed to be the norm which is good to see happening.
Dropped in for a late breakfast and it was really good value with a friendly welcome. The unlimited drinks a great option too, allowing you to have tea, coffee, and juice. The eggs benedict and full breakfast were both top notch and nicely presented.
Dined in for an impromptu breakfast, firstly half the menu wasn’t available which is a bit of an inconvenience for someone limited by food intolerances, allergies and such. They did make me a yoghurt and fruit cup however some of the fruit was mouldy and it was very watery which wasn’t appetising at all. Table & seats dirty and needed a good clean. Overall very disappointed, won’t be returning anytime soon.
Had a lovely meal with my family. The waiter was friendly and attentive. We didn't feel rushed and enjoyed the food very much. The ice cream sundaes were a little on the small side for the price but thoroughly enjoyed everything. Restaurant was clean and the salad bar was checked regularly by staff. Kid-friendliness: Staff were patient when my children were ordering and were on hand to help when they were getting their drinks from the soda machine. Parking: Plenty of spaces but shared with lots of other restaurants
We were shown to our table by a very enthusiastic server. As I pulled back a chair to sit down, I noted the carpet and foot of the table were dirty with food debris. Our server was attentive and soon took our drink orders, the restaurant was quite busy so it was a little longer than expected for the refillable glasses to be brought to the table and our food orders taken. The food we ordered was satisfactory to good but I found the soft drink refill area to be wet and in need of a clean-up. Desserts were satisfactory to good. Our bill was brought to the table and payment taken without fuss.
We hadn't been to Harvester in ages and didn't know what to expect. Despite it being a Sunday evening and in a party of 6, we needn't have have had any concerns. Imogen, our waitress, was kind, helpful and cheerful. All the staff were actually great and the ambiance, warm and inviting. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. We will definitely return :
Thought we'd give this a go as we were close to the area but was greeted by a woman who literally didn't crack a smile the whole time we was there, in fact she couldn't of looked less interested in seating us if she tried...short blonde haired woman... needs some training on customer service Anyway we were served by Reo who was the complete opposite and was lovely and very welcoming. Apart from the macoroni cheese being zapped in the microwave to within an inch of its life.... So hard I literally felt I could of frisbeed it into the table seated near us with phones at highest volume settings to entertain their kids and husband watching football grrrr apart from that it was OK...... Puddings saved the day
