"Traditional fish and chips shop serving fish, pies, sausages, savaloys, spring rolls. We have fresh Southern fried chicken and hot wings. We have a large vegan menu serving vegan fish, sausages, pies, burgers, hotdogs, loaded chips and wraps including seitan, doner kebab, halloumi, chicken curry.... All vegan of course. We now also have gluten free options including gluten free fish and chips. Please ask!!"

Such a wonderful experience. From the outside it may look like a regular chippy but it is so much more than that! The owner is absolutely hilarious and really works hard to run this place. The prices are definitely reasonable as for the food itself I've tried the entire vegan menu by now and honestly everything is made to perfection. If I am able to add more photos later I shall only taken photos of the vegan fish and chips so far which my partner loves and he's half Japanese so it's a big deal to find fish he actually enjoys!

Amazing vegan fish and chips! I visited yesterday after reading some great reviews online and was not disappointed. There clearly has been a lot of care and attention into developing the dishes on the vegan menu and the owner took the time to explain the process in which she had developed the fish substitute, which was fantastic! Impossible for food to be bad when so much passion goes into cooking. Thank you for a great meal and highly recommended.
Heaven sent chips !! I’ve searched all over London for fresh chips and I’ve finally found them here. Do not miss out. Great customer service, almost as if you’re a family. The fish and chicken here are carefully cooked and prepared for you to consume. Make sure to come down, they don’t disappoint.

We visited this chippy for lunch. It was delicious and good value. The owner was lovely too! She has owned the place since the 70s. It was nice chatting to her about the local area. Would highly recommend!!
Wow. What can I say about this place? An absolute local gem. Really tasty vegan food. I had the vegan fish & chips which was aaaamazing & my partner had the jackfruit wrap with added halloumi. Em is a lovely person that takes the time to chat to her customers and she has sampled vegan food to choose the best, so what she serves is top quality. Thank you. Not my local chippy, but I stopped by when visiting family and it was very good. The portion size is great, and the staff were friendly and goes out of their way to make great conversation so it was a pleasant visit for more than one reason.
The Kingfisher really surprised me yesterday. Looked like a modest fish and chip shop - but their vegan menu is one of the best in Hackney. If you're in Homerton, seriously recommend checking it out. Potentially the first and best example I've ever had of authentic vegan British fast food. Also, the vegan fish is way better than Sutton & Sons'.
