Always go here. Went last just before lockdown for a few pints and a nibble. Upstairs have a lovely view of the castle. Surprisingly fast service for a spoons. Can’t go wrong!
Can't go wrong with Wetherspoons, good food/drink at value prices. I like the upstairs area, some of the tables of window views across to the Castle. Clean and sanitised toilets and seperate entry and exit points. Service was very quick via the App. Mixed Grill very good.
As usual like other Weatherspoon outlets, food is good and nice staff/service. Big seating in door as well as out door. There is a long wait time due to COVID but you can get a table in about 15 min.
We had fish and chips. Loved the fact that even if the pub was quite busy Sunday lunch as soon as a table got empty it got ready for us. Even if we were 5 in the group and placed 3 different orders the food came together and really quick. Once again prompt service and good food at accessible prices.
Prices really good at the moment and no problem getting a seat. Staff both friendly and helpful. Try the app, you don't even need to leave your table as food and drink will be brought to you at no extra charge. Bit of a fact to use but once you get the hang of it, it is very good.
Visited during our trip to Windsor for breakfast and was very pleased with the establishment. Covid rules followed very well while the food offer was quick and prompt. Lovely waiting staff, great view to the castle.

Was very busy on Friday 18th December before all restaurants and pubs were closed due to Tier 4 restrictions. Enjoyed my last night out for a while.
Friendly staff, good social distancing measures in place. Perfect view of the castle.
