Nice hot spot in Windsor, if you are lucky you can find yourself a nice view from upstairs. Just ask the staff to see if are seats avaliable in upstairs room with a view. The food was nice, nice prices.

Not impressed. I guess "normally", its "quaint old pubiness" goes down great with tourists, especially foreign ones. But with a one way system, perspex partitions, and slow table only service.... It's just dead

Gorgeous little pub with a good range of draught lagers, ales and ciders. Not able to comment on the food as the kitchen was the day I was there. However, to compensate for that they gave us a coupon for food at their sister site, The Piper, down the road.

Good beer and a very nice sandwich. It would be a solid 5 stars if it was a touch more reasonable on the price. Clean and tidy plus friendly polite barman.

Went there first time , a very welcoming place food was good except there was a chicken burger that was burned however the staff apologised nicely and offered us alternatives. Very nice customer service thank you guys ...

We just stopped to have a drink at The hotse and the Groom and enjoyed some warming mulled wine! and were pleased to find seating, a cosy atmosphere and friendly service. We didn't eat anything but the food looked and smelled good. Toilets were funky but smell a bit funny.

Great food and very nice service. We enjoyed our view of Windsor Castle from atop on the 2nd floor.
