A great traditional English country pub. Very welcoming, friendly landlord and lovely bar staff. Always a warm welcome, a good selection of great real ales, including locally brewed (Larkins) and good food. Lovely spacious garden with panoramic views. Massive car park. In the winter lovely log fires. This pub is a real gem, the locals are very lucky!

Lovely evening last night, there were 8 of us and no problem, all are food arrived at the same time. Staff very friendly great food and plenty of it. Thank you to the staff Regards Kate.

Good atmosphere. Pub grub at a very reasonable price. Good mix of ales and friendly staff.

Great meal. They coped well with our large party - 14 adults, plus 5 children. Pre-booking essential for that size!
