Only had the one early afternoon pint but what a lovely pint it was. The landlady was very pleasant and happily fed the dog treats. A well know watering hole that clearly can live up to its reputation.Service: 5/5
The very best conditioned ales I've come across! VERY knowledgeable and friendly landlady. Several pints and no hint of a hangover next day! Pool table, darts, jukebox, wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended.

popped in for a quick half before going to an event at the working mans club down the rd its actually my local but tbh we don't tend to go drinking much of an evening I have to say tho that its a really nice local pub and the beer is really good and I beleive it has recently won awards for their beer and service . we were made most welcome and its got a nice atmosphere . I think ill be popping in again . ty

This is a great pub selling real ale. Independent pubs are rare. The person running g the pub knows her beer and serves many different beers. This sort of pub is really worth supporting as if we do not support independent pubs, we just end up with mediocre chains like Weatgerspons.
Awesome pub with an amazing land lady! Bonus points for the cat and the dogs!
