A bit dated ale house but then that it's appeal for most customers like me. Has not changed for years. Good selection of beer, friendly locals and and old decor. Apparently may be shutting in August for good which would be a shame, pubs like this are dropping like flies. Titanic stout was OK. Lots of pub memorabilia to study. Supported by CAMRA. Better than a chain pub for sure, a little make over could improve it though.
Great traditional pub which came under new management in 2023. Whilst it ws sad to see Sue leave after many decades of serving great beer. Kudos to the new team for keeping the real ale ethos of the Queens.Service: 5/5
Not rated food as we only went in for ale. This is how pubs used to be, a nice old fashioned place with decent beer. Dog friendly too.Service: 5/5
Excellent place singers are very good, lovely place to sit on a nice sunny dayService: 5/5
Wow. What a nice pub. Really good real ale. No brass toot with real people drinking..., a rare treat.
Popped in for a couple of pints. Plenty of great real ales. 4 piece band playing Christmas Carol's to top off a memorable visit.Service: 5/5
A friendly local pub with a good selection of realales and a lovely coal fire in winter time ⏲ it will be closing on the 31st of August 2022 a sad day for customers, staff and sue the landlady after years of service
Friendly, inclusive, traditional pub. Good selection of whatever you like to drink, including real ales. Recommended.Service: 5/5
