Great night. Christmas gathering. Plenty of space inside and out. It was really too cold to stay at the very end space even with heaters and blankets so we moved inside and this improved our moods and enjoyment of the evening. The music encouraged us to dance and enjoy ourselves. I did order a buttermilk chicken burger. The burger itself was ok. I didn’t finish it, but glad I had the lovely thick cut chips and onion rings. Others had pizza, wraps and burgers and the food was ok. Staff were professional. The Victorian lemonade was great!
Spent an evening at Ryan’s N16 which was okay-ish. When entering we weren’t welcomed, but the staff behind bar was on her phone, went to order at the till and got our starter nachos with cheese 5 minutes later. Sadly those were cold and the small amount of cheese, which wasn’t even covering 50% of it, wasn’t melted. Had to give it back it heat up again. Another 45 minutes later we had to ask for our burgers as they still didn’t arrive - even though there were maybe 2 other tables served. The burgers were great though.
Nice music and atmosphere. Wait staff friendly and fast! Beautiful garden! A great night out.
Awesome bar/pub. Came here the other day with a couple friends for some drinks and we had a blast. Staff is kind and welcoming, all in all the atmosphere is great. Garden is an absolute gem, definitely coming back.
Appalling!!! I have been to parties here in the past private hire of basement & they have been great, so I booked for my 50th….big mistake. On arrival asked when they would be opening the bar, they said they wasn’t! Who hires somewhere for an event & the bar isn’t open ‍. Staff were rude & unhelpful, said they didn’t have staff & too look in the window & see there is an advert for staff hire. They begrudgingly said they would open it for 2 hours which turned out to be less than 1.5 hours. I received no email saying the bar wouldn’t be open nor did they tell me when I arrived. 4 members of staff were working upstairs with a Handful of customers. Supervisor was incredibly rude and didn’t care. Music was turned off at 1am despite email saying 1:30am. Overall they ruined my party & will not be going back. 0 customer service
I haven't been there for a couple of years but this is one of my favourite pubs in London. Great garden, basement for gigs and thai food, what can go wrong...
Shocking service. Waited 40 minutes for wings and nachos and it wasn’t busy at all. Asked several times how long my food would be and just been told it would be coming soon. Rude little lady with no etiquette and manners. This will be my last visit.

Amazing service with a smile, at a busy time too. Food was excellent. We had the lamb roast and pork roast. Top quality stuff for a reasonable price. Great lagers.
Lovely pub in Stoke Newington! Good food I tried the Sunday roast and craft beers. During summer there is a beautiful outdoor garden. Recommended!
