Had a really wonderful experience at Antica Roma. We tried the garlic bread, the penne arrabbiata, the lasagna al forno and the one with anchovies can't remember what it is called! All dishes were faultless. I particularly liked the lasagna and cannot remember the last time I had as good a dish. 10/10 and would happily go back. Our server Jack was also a delight, and very accommodating!
First visit and very nice place to visit for a Sunday lunch. Service was good and food was excellent. Busy for Sunday afternoon with made a nice atmosphere on a cloudy cold day.
I called in at 5 pm to see if they could accommodate a party of 15 for 8pm. Lo and behold, they managed to fit us in although they were busy.nThe food was fabulous, the service was second to none. They made our evening most enjoyable and totally unforgettable.nWe were a lively party of 13 women & 2 men.nThank you so much.nLove & blessings to you all from The Coven of Gaia. We came here to this restaurant for a family meal and was really impressed with the good service. Friendly staff and quick service.nThere were lots of options on both the food and wine menu. The food was a British take on Italian dishes.nnWe had the sharing board which was nice, a good selection of cold meats and cheeses.nWe had pizza to follow which was not quite as good, the base was quite heavy and there was too much cheese on my pizza. The squid was quite rubbery.nnThe steak and the lasagna looked nice and those on our table enjoyed it.
Once again we had faultless service on our visit, food waz amazing i had the seabass and my husband had the pork as decided we wanted something different, the flavours were perfect. We were left to take our time to finish drinking our wine after our deserts, there was no rush at all. Staff ineracted with conversation and had a nice laugh and a joke and made us feel relaxed and confortable as usual.
