This was the first ever Christmas meal that my family and I have gone out for, and it was certainly a memorable experience! We were served 5 delicious courses which were chosen in advance. The food came out swiftly and the service was prompt and friendly. They had vegan options - my main course was a butternut risotto and I had a lemon and lime tart for dessert which were both exceptional. The portion sizes were perfect and the price was more than worth it. Thank you so much, Ivy House! I cannot wait to come here again.

Went on Sunday very very busy
Good service rhe food was great
I had chicken pie have to say it was
Delicious chunky chicken sauce
Creamy mash...my husband had the roast 
He liked it but said he would have liked
More potatoes and vegs...but it would have been more than enough for me...
Wine list was good reasonable and a fair choice. ....
We will definitely be going back to try mid week menu for lunch and evening meals

I had been here many times before, always booking in advance without issue and had good service and food, and so I booked a table for my mum's  80th, two or three weeks in advance, for a party of six.
  
Just to make sure I phoned the day before to confirm to be told that there was no booking and that the restaurant was fully reserved for a single event, but that they might be able to find space for us at the bar.
  
No apology, no attempt to correct what had obviously happened. Fortunately I managed to get a table in 'Friends' in Pinner and actually had a nicer time and better food. I've never been back to the Ivy House. Never will.  Unacceptably unprofessional management. Pity, as the food is good. Just don't book expecting to get a table or an apology when they discard your booking.

Lovely pub with nice atmosphere. Nice fire, mulled wine, great food that comes well presented. Can highly recommend this place! We came here in a large group, circa 30 people, and the staff couldn't be more accommodating.
