Had lunch here, service is diabolical. Most tables still have plates and glasses on although patrons have left. Had to ask for cutlery. Steak really chewey, although fish and chips and burgers were good. Still waiting for ice cream 15 minutes after waiter said 5 minutes. Staff appear overworked and impolite. Won't be back.

Well where to start waited forever for the food almost watch a whole half of football. Every plate had something cold on it and it wasn't worth the money or wait. Could of got same quality from the burger van on the high Street.

Food service terrible plates on empty tables. Ordered a steak rare and came out blue, asked for kids ice-cream that comes with a meal and had to watch 20 mins for only one to come but had two kids meals waited a further 5 mins for the second. Waiting staff not very friendly would not recommend if you want a quick meal

Great value food and beer.... Nice atmosphere and big smoking area if you smoke, all under cover... Beer garden great in the summer...

This place has gone down hill fast, the breakfast was cold with solid eggs and white untoasted toast . After waiting 20 minutes we at least expected hot food. No tea or coffee available because they hadn't got round to washing up the cups. Staff are scruffy, unfriendly and couldn't care less. We heard at least two tables being refunded in full. We just left and won't be returning. Although we have used the imp for years. Enoughs enough.
