Story

We are a unique private members club in the heart of Covent Garden, London, for members of the creative industries. The seven storey building has an award-winning TV and Music Studio, a Gallery, Restaurant and Bars, a Screening Room, Hotel Rooms, and the Oak Room, a live performance space.

The Hospital Club was founded by Paul Allen and Dave Stewart. The story goes that Paul and Dave were having a drink in Covent Garden one night when they spotted a boarded-up building, the former St Paul’s Hospital. They hatched a plan to revive the building and transform it into a hub of creativity – full of people, ideas, music and life – and in 2004, The Hospital Club was born.

Now in its second decade, the Club has gone from strength to strength, with the creation of the new charitable h.Club Foundation, its commitment to sustainability, the h.Club 100 awards, the Club Art programme and much more.

Amazing Hotel, made even more luxurious and amazing by the staff. You can have the best bedding and decor and art but if the staff aren't good then you will never enjoy your stay. This hotel, thankfully, must either find the very best staff or train great staff to be even better. Of course its a beautiful place to be. The rooms are exquisite, but it's not over whelming or stuffy, it's relaxed and friendly but with a level of service and attention to detail that is superb.

Absolutely fantastic stay at h Club London. The room was beautiful and huge!, and the staff were excellent. We didn't make use of any of the other facilities, but they were open to us as hotel guests. We loved the complimentary cocktail at 6.30pm made at the door for us, listen for the rattle of the trolley and the knock at your door! and the complimentary cocktail bar in the room. Amazing! Our room also had an outdoor terrace, which we didn't use thanks to Storm Dennis, but would be wonderful in the summer. We would definitely stay again.

Really cool place we had a sales meeting here for our 2020 kick off. I was amazed when I discovered an Oasis exhibition downstairs. Made my day! Great location nice feel to the place!

h Club London is a private membership club . it has restaurant and bars that are open both for members and non members. Members are usually people in hospitality and artists including media professionals. It has event spaces for wedding reception, seminars, wine tasting, conferences and birthday parties. It equally has some accommodations as well. The staff members are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed their meals and wine. About 10 minutes walk distance from Holborn underground station.

A Place I Always Love Returning To. London has many members clubs to choose from...if you can gain membership. The advantages of The Hospital Club are it's Covent Garden location, creative art direction, two proper lifts, excellent bedrooms, two superb bars and a great staff. A mixologist brings a trolly to the bedrooms every evening to mix you a fresh cocktail in your room. How can you beat that? Occasionally they have musical acts that are top notch. The food is very good at the club. Their coffee is fantastic. I love the caramel latte. The Otto cocktail is delicious and must be experienced.

We booked the small room here and they weren’t kidding. It’s tiny, although nice. There’s not even a chair or small table/desk to open your laptop on. No place in the bathroom to even put your toiletry bag. However, if you’re here just to sleep and shower, the amenities of the club and overall location are worth it. The 2nd and 4th floors are available to you as a guest, and are quite vibrant with the energy of creative people hustling. Great for a meeting or just to sit, people watch and work remotely. Had breakfast here one day and thought it was mediocre pictured avocado toast and rocket fuel juice. There’s a little food mart right next door for snacks/drinks and restaurants all around. You also can’t hear anything from the rooms next door which is excellent.

A private members club that frequently hosts events which are open to non-members.  The Oak Room is frequently used to host live music - a wide variety of music can be heard in a very relaxed environment - it’s never been what I’d call crowded when I’ve been there.  Check out Vin’s Night In on Facebook for some events - Vin is a frequent host on events.

Got a chance to see and attend a quick meeting inside this wonderful social and business club and I love it from the vibe to the ambiance.

Excellent venue and very friendly people, lovely vibe and a great band. We had a great night and met many interesting people.

An amazing experience and one I will not like to be unfamiliar with. I could live here. True comfort
