My friends and I attended an event last Friday at Century Club in London. We started on the second floor and later moved up to the rooftop. The club has unique, vintage-inspired decor that really adds to the atmosphere. Service was efficient, and we never had to wait long for attention. The rooftop terrace was a nice spot to get some fresh air, though the music could have been better. The location is also very convenient—just a minute’s walk from Piccadilly—though the entrance can be tricky to find if you’re not familiar with the venue. Overall, it’s a good spot to have a nice time!
We booked the Century Club as the venue for a professional event. The staff were helpful, the food good, and overall, the atmosphere was enjoyed by attendees, but accessibility is a big drawback. The Green Room space is not suitable for wheelchair users, and this should be clearly stated on the website to allow informed decision making when a recce isn't possible.
You would not even notice this great place for entertainment, food and drink and other social gatherings when walking down the Shaftesbury avenue. At least I almost missed it. It's a great place for cabaret, dance and also food & drink. I am not sure if you need to be pre booked to enter there, simply because they had reception on the first floor, once you go up. I had my ticket for cabaret, so I was okay to enter. It's a 4 storey building with a roof top garden bar.
Came to century club for the Crème Du Careme supper club event I’m not a member here. Firstly the staff were great, so friendly and helpful and I felt very welcomed here even as a non - member. The club is set across 4 or 5 floors I think and it is very beautiful inside, the supper club was situated on the top floor. I loved the layout of this event , felt very intimate. The guest speaker was clearly very knowledgeable and I came away with some interesting information. I was not aware of the opera that was going to take place, what a pleasant surprise! I love opera and these girls were amazing! As for the food, it was good. All of it was delicious however as the talk had a lot of focus on pastry I was expecting top notch pastry dry and almost stale choux pastry and the voul au vent was lacking in layers and again too dry. Also lacking in truffle in the main dish. Don’t get me wrong the flavours were stunning and the rest of the food was cooked to perfection. The whole event ran very smooth and overall I had a great night, thank you Century Club.
Lovely lunch, friendly staff. Great rooftop dining terrace.
Amazing place. Love being a member. The venue is impeccable. But for me it's all about the staff. They are all outstanding. Thank you guys
Excellent venue for a private event, staff were incredibly helpful and service was great. The outdoor terrace was a great additional space for guests to use and even with rain there was cover and heaters.
Joined a friend who is a member for dinner/drinks on the 1st floor and was disappointed by both the food choice on the menu which was very limited and the price. When my aubergine parmigiana arrived it was barely warm and had to be sent back. Overpriced. Ridiculously small portions - the salad was tiny! That said the staff were attentive and the wine was good.
Century Club hosted a corporate event for my company last week. The venue is beautiful with various rooms available to hire depending on your criteria, the staff are extremely helpful from planning, suggesting various suppliers through to hosting the live event. We hired the green room for presentations and the roof terrace for live music and a party. We loved every second and the venue was the perfect size for 200 people. We would love to host more events here in the future, couldn't reccomend the team and venue more!
We booked the Centurion for a one day workshop. The room was great although we had to ask for the temperature to be adjusted a couple of times as it was a hot day. The food, however, was criminally bad. £28pp for thin kids styled sandwiches with stale bread, crisps and some fruit with barely enough to go around. No drinks were provided beyond the water and coffee in the room. It was embarrassing for our guests that we were hosting.
