Very impressed with the large garden and smart interior. It was good to see a St. Austell ale on tap, alas it had run out, so I settled for a London Pride. Not too bad, but expensive at £2.35 for half. Good music and impressive menu. I may return to eat and will update this review
Staying locally and The Horns Inn was recommended as a place to eat. We were really pleased we came here ! Such a nice welcome and friendly service from the young team, really impressive. I’m vegetarian and there was lots of choice for me. Went for a tomato and cannellini bean pie in the end which was delicious and my husband had a burger. Would definitely like to come back, great job guys : x
A great pub and grounds on an easy to find location. Well laid out interior with plenty of tables and seating. Good food served and a jolly time with family was had by all
Went here on a Monday evening for wife's birthday. Got a text from in law's asking if we wanted inside or out. Looked like rain so said inside. Got there and a lot of the outdoor tables are under cover brilliant. Food was nice and reasonable prices and every member of staff were very nice even got to chat with the staff member outside. The food was nice we had a mixture of everything mixed grill, pie, hunter chicken and steak. All cooked well and looked great. We all had puddings too which finished the meal off a treat. Can see myself there on a nice sunny weekend, let's just wait for the sun
Nice friendly chain pub. Was toasty warm on a cold day. Food is ok, beer is great. I liked that you could avoid the queues and order from their app at your table.
Had a lovely lunch to celebrate my Husbands Birthday. The food was delicious and well presented, a shame we had to wait so long between courses. Seemed very short of staff for a busy lunchtime. It was quite chilly in the side room near the bar area, do need the radiator on. Apart from this It's a lovely place and will go back but only when its warmer.
Friday 20 January 2023 With the help of Liam the deputy manager who went the extra mile ,by retrieving my lost email inviting me dine at a special rate ,in then booked a table for 8 My guests enjoyed every meal booked on the set menu. My partner and myself paid extra £2 each for a very lovely rump steak......cooked beautiful We also order sweets after,I had sticky toffee pudding .....it melted in your mouth. The staff serving the meals were very enthusiastic about making sure we were all very got our orders and they were correct . Bar staff were top class , especially a lady called Jackie ,who took our meal orders ,and ensured we ordered correctly,to prevent disappointment. Finally ....the manger, I found him very approachable and congratulated him on his his team. A lovely evening a birthday treat to remember Thank you
Have been here many many times and has always been lovely, unfortunately my last visit wasn't too good. I don't know weather it was because they were extra busy because of the Christmas season but the food wasn't has good as usual, meat was tough and vegetables were cold. Staff were has lovely as ever considering how busy they were. It hasn't put me off going again but definitely won't be going in December.
Great place for a wonderfully tasty Sunday Roast. We are vegetarians and the tart on the Sunday roast was outstanding. My parents had the pork and they said the meat was melt in the mouth tender and very tasty. The pudding were exceptional too! Kid and dog Friendly. Great service. Friendly and helpful
Came in here with my extended family we booked the gold buffet for 40 people, The ceiling was a little low in the adjoining room which we were using, good food and choice, very tasty. Unfortunately they ran out of my favourite doom bar ale after only two pints but other ales were available. I would come back again but this time with a smaller group.
