Came for a Sunday Roast and was impressed by the food. I expect that because it was a chain pub (Nicholson’s) that the Sunday Roast would be very average, but it was good! Plenty of meat, nice and tender, loads of gravy - job done! Also good to see that they have a good Fever Tree menu, offering some great drinks. My only qualm is that the service was a little slow and one plate of food came out significantly before the other 3. But it was a busy Sunday...

REALLY great value for money. 6 meals and a drink around £80. All burgers were great, the buns were particularly nice. Chips were hot and crispy and the garnish was fresh and crisp. Good drinks but they ran out of the beer I wanted mid pour. The barman knew his beers and sold me on a great alternative. Will return next time we are up for the football.

We were a family of 6 adults and 4 children walking the river. We saw a notice for Burgers and beers for a deal price. We decided it would be better to have a meal here instead of some fast food elsewhere. The bar was full and we were about to leave but Darren noticed our confusion and led us to a private room where the kids were allowed move around without bothering any other patrons. Darren set us up and directed our orders to the main bar where Marcus (name on the receipt) was agai very helpful, he had the food delivered to our table directly from the kitchen. Often time you would pay a premium for private dining, here we got it for free. After we went I could see they were setting up for a party in the evening. Darren asked us to do these instead of taking a tip as he mentioned that it was important to get good reviews. Great experience all around and a real surprise.

fabulous venue. Decent level of service, not mitchelin star level but considerably better than the expectation of a pub. The food is better than passable, it’s a considered menu well prepared. The drinks range is their crown jewel, certainly a break from the “2 pints of lager” standard in the area. If the drinks range is the jewel then their location is the crown, unequalled views across the city, bookended nicely between both Tower and London Bridge.

Another amazing pub from Nicholsons right by the river, we only had drinks here, but place is so warm and inviting. Barman Darren was super friendly and gave good advice on local places worth visiting. We will definitely come back for a meal.
