Story

Lowdown at The Albany is a long running comedy and music venue. The venue host some of the greatest show in London and not only is it in the heart of London, only 1 minute walk from Great Portland Street Tube Station, its in the basement of the The Albany. The Albany serves food till 9pm everyday and also sells some of the best largers and ales around.

Lowdown is a great venue with something different on each night, from Stand-up comics to Burlesque. Air conditioned, bar and food served Lowdown also.

If you’re in the area I really recommend this pub. There a really good atmosphere. A large selection of beers. I’ve been there on Sunday for the roast and the food taste really good too. The bar staff is really nice and welcoming !

Nice pub with plenty of seating. Relaxed and friendly crowd. Plenty of choices of drinks. Have been here a couple of times now and it's always fun.

Staff were really friendly! Fast service. Claire and T in particular we’re so nice and accommodating.

Went there for drinks with some friends one time. Its a nice place. Service was great and attentive. Sometimes in these pubs you can find yourself waiting for ages but this was not he case. As far as prices, its quite similar to most pubs in the area

Had a fun night but this was more down to people than slightly cramped function basement room. Upstairs more spacious brass-fitted bar with tables. Somewhat lacking in London atmos but clean & efficient service.
