Nice pub / bar. Good decor, spacious, Osdet brewery tap. Visited early in the day in winter so not so busy. Nice pint of White Rat. Would come back next time I'm at the train station.
We attended a surrogacy UK social here last week in half the upstairs area. A shame the toilets are upstairs so it meant the public were in and out of the area all the time. Clean ish loos apart from a water spillage . Nicely decorated . The pie, mash and peas are bloody gorgeous. Well worth the money. Nice views of the surrounding locks, canal boats etc. Music was a bit load for us to be able to talk without having to shout so I came away with a headache but nice for a short visit.
Quiet when we went but was about 2 on a Friday afternoon. Had a couple of pints of lager but also had a chicken bacon and mushroom pie with mushy peas. Plenty of filling and piping hot give it a go you won't regret it.Food: 5/5
Always a friendly reception here. Quite a large pub. Good selection of beers. Nice pizza and pies. It has outdoor seating too which is lovely in the summer. Looks over Granary Wharf.
This is a nice canal side bar and surprisingly just a short walk from a side entrance of Leeds railway station. Look for the "South Bank" exit and walk down through an old wharf onto the terrace that "The Hop" sits on; serving decent ales and a useful lunchtime snack menu.Food: 5/5
Very good pub in a couple of railway arches under Platform 17 of Leeds Station. Eight cask beers - and 1 cider - on handpump when I visited including a stout. Lots of outdoor seating some of it covered. Busy, but not impossibly so, before the Spurs game at Elland Road.
We called in around 4pm on a Friday and it was pretty quiet guess it livens up later on and stayed for a couple. The Citra ipa think it was an ipa was very nice with a bitter undertow , prices fair and staff provided service with a smile. No rating for food as we didn't dine here
Been here many times. Buzzing on an evening. Great bands to go and see. Fab atmosphere. Not tried the food though as yet. Would definitely recommendService: 5/5
Good selection of beers, hopefuly the real ciders will be along soon. Good live music, interesting architectureService: 4/5
Nice laid back place to spend time with friends and have a pint.If you like pizza you can also get half price off from the place next door if you tell them your drinking in the Hop.Only downside was it's cold so wrap up!!
