Nice friendly hotel. Bit dated but clean did the job for our overnight stay. Very nice full English breakfast in the morning. Staff were lovely. Nice relaxing bar too
Where have all the old whisky bottles gone? There used to be hundreds of old bottles ringing the walls.....now they've been replaced by empty Bailey's, Chekhov vodka, cheap wine and other random bottles. One of the bits of character gone and not much left.
Had a lovely stay here beautiful views, and a very nice filling breakfast. Nice bar area too seating for customers both inside and outside.
My wife and I stayed here for three nights from 5th Sept. The staff are very friendly, the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The food was fantastic and we will definitely be staying when we visit again.
Good place to stop off after a long walk. Super staff. Just very relaxing in the front garden with a pint.
Visited on Monday for drinks and barmeals. We were very impressed with the friendly efficient staff and then the meal was excellent. Good quality, plenty of it , well presented and very tasty. It will be somewhere we visit regularly from now on .
