I was here for the dream boys show, a lovely space for shows, security was friendly, the queue moved quickly, accessible by bus and Taxi. Wheelchair friendly, staff very friendly and supportive, functioning toilets, they had a good few which was good on all levels no long queues. Lovely seating arrest and very modern.e
The Helix is a great facility to have on the campus of DCU. If you are visiting then parking is directly across the road in a multistory carpark. The staff are friendly and the sound systems for performing artists are state of the art. Seating is a little cramped but that's only me nitpicking. There is a nice cafe and bar area outside the theatres and you can also pick up pre-made andwiches I think at the cafe. A really positive experience.
We were at the Helix on Saturday 7th May for the Peace Proms 22. It was amazing. Our grandson Eli was taken part in the concert in the peace proms choir. This was our first time there but believe me not our last trip. The staff were very helpful and friendly too.
An intimate venue close to all amenities and a large local catchment. Easy access to road network if travelling from further afield and an excellent bar if you're not. Multi level car parking on site.
a pleasant and excellent evening. very good to be able to watch a show of a song from my country. I loved
Spacious, cosy and complete structure to attend gigs. Super organized entrance and easy access by car or walk. Coffee shop inside and clean toilets. Wheelchair access and lifts included.
Went to see the brulesque show absolutely fantastic very well tan beautiful staff also
Second time to visit the Helix last night to see the amazing show Legacy unfortunately Again the venue was Very Very cold! Which is a pity because its a nice venue as its small its quite intimate, staff are lovely, unfortunately drinks are exceptionally overpriced with a Guinness priced at €6. So if anyone going in the next few shows dress warm!
The seats are laid out really well so no matter where you sit visibility is great. It's not a huge theatre just big enough. Parking on site. Can be a bit if a queue to pay for your parking ticket but its really cheap.
As a venue it's fine but the parking is a disaster. Signage states pay station available on 2 floors but it is not. We spent an hour queuing to pay for our ticket after a great show last night. There were queues coming from all routes trying to use the same machines. Really needs to be looked at
