Had sandwiches and the bread was wholemeal. Did ask for wholemeal bloomer. Bread was a bit dry. Didn't complain as I wasn't feeling well

The staff are all lovely (that I’ve been served by) the place is lovely to be in wether it’s afternoon or evening. Drinks prices are a little high (IMO) however for one or two it’s forgivable.

Good pub food and a nice atmosphere. There is a small selection of ales, only two guest ales when I visited. 
Food is nicely cooked and is tasty, with some different options to choose from. 
When I visited in February 2017 I felt there were too few staff on, the bar staff were friendly and efficient but could have done with another on to help them out. Also there were quite a few items that were unavailable, both food and drink.
