"We're a local, friendly pub with a well stocked bar at good prices. Wide selection of gins, the drink of the moment! Come & see what you can try this week!We have live acts performing every Saturday evening plus pool practice on a Monday night with Free pool and a Thursday Klub with card bingo & play your cards right. Easily offended stay away We have three pool teams which run from here, a ladies darts team and currently looking for a Mens team.We have a lovely function room which is FREE to hire, has its own separate bar and conservatory area. We can cater for you too and supply you with a fantastic disco!Outside seating area too.The Honest Lawyer is well worth a visit!"

We recently had our wedding do and after party at the Honest Lawyer. Nice sized function room with it’s own bar, outside smoking area as well as more seating, use of table and chairs and lovely and friendly staff. They catered for everything and everyone at short notice for me and my husband and made everything easy and relaxed for us. The disco we also had by Standard Entertainment was also perfect and definitely made the event a party! Would highly recommend thank you for everything xx

Honest lawyer. Is what it says on sign..Good old fashioned honest family pub..Great atmosphere and excellent service from friendly staff..Beers well kept and reasonable price..
Been here a few times but was very rudely and ignorantly spoken to by a member of staff when trying to make conversation. Appalling customer service, clearly doesn't want to be there. Just want to clarify this is something that happened recently. It was a member of staff behind the bar who was serving us so please don't jump to conclusions. There was no landlord or distractions around to be how he was with me, but thanks for your reply - still don't seem very scrubbed up on your customer service skills.
Needs updating decor in very poor condition. But staff were nice and polite.

Awful staff behind the bar. Making rude comments for no reason. Not bothered about their customers at all. Place is in decline and won't be around much longer. Not worth the visit.
A first visit to Guilty Gourmet with my Dad for Sunday lunch and not disappointed . Good choice from a three course menu . We chose Pork loin roast and Turkey roast dinner . Although our main course was delayed due to a mishap in the kitchen , we were kept informed as to how long we would be waiting , which was only about 5 minutes . When they arrived both meals were hot , as were the plates , and there was plenty of everything we had requested . Dad was full after his meal but I had a dessert which was very enjoyable . When the bill was presented it had been reduced due to the delay with our main course , which was a lovely surprise and not something I was expecting . The staff were very pleasant and courteous . Overall we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return .
Good old Grimsby pub not many left, outside seating, friendly atmosphere, local community feel. Free function room
It's alright, friendly barmaids, not too expensive drinks, what else could you ask for.
