Our family went here for the Mother's Day Sunday roast and had a great experience while there!  We had a wonderful server named Madi, who was so friendly and attentive - we felt very well taken care of.nOverall, the atmosphere was pleasant from the moment we arrived and were greeted at the door to the time we left.nThe roast was delicious and dessert even better.nWe will definitely be eating here again!

I had the salmon from the specials menu and it was delicious. I often come here and always enjoy the food, another favourite of mine is the pork belly. Absolutely love the dessert selection too

We’ve just had lunch, looked after by the lovely Katie, who was very attentive and demonstrated her knowledge of the menu by recommending a few spot on options. A great spot to eat, drink or both! by the river, with super friendly knowledgeable staff and a superb atmosphere

First time at Harts and have to say I’m quite impressed. The service was professional yet warm and welcoming and the food was up to standard. With the sun shining how can you not appreciate that riverside view. Kristof and the rest of the team who I spoke to made my meal a treat.nnJust seen a review about the decor and baffled by the reviewers words, the venue is gorgeous. Would recommend to friends and anyone reading this.

Previous experiences here have been pleasant. However, we came for Sunday dinner and had a terrible experience. Shocking!  We were a group of 5 and having had to wait 15 mins for a table we booked,  we were eventually sat down on a table for 4. When we asked to be moved, we were told we had to give the table back in 1hr 45 mins. Not wanting to rush we asked to speak to the manager who wasn’t very helpful but was offered another table but had to wait another 30 mins.nnThen we had to wait ages for the food and when the main course arrived, it was cold.  They took my husbands food away and put it back in the microwave to warm up. Gave us more veg which was uncooked. Potatoes and vegetables were supposed to  be roasted but hadn’t seen the oven for long! Garnish was wilted. Grisley beef and would be surprised if it was sirloin and not worth £20.nnMiserable staff and management who were more interested in getting a party prepared. Not once after speaking to the manager about moving tables did he even look at us or check if everything was okay. This place needs to train their staff in customer service.  It seems because we asked for a different table at the beginning we were now being ignored but looking at other reviews it seems we are not the first to encounter awful service here. When I complained at the end because we had to wait so long to pay, the staff were rude! Extremely rude!nnIt’s Christmas and there was certainly no Christmas spirit in there. Very disappointed. Do not recommend. I will never return to this place.
