Came here for food one evening. We arrived just before the kitchen closed, the food came out quickly and was great. The guy who served us was warm and friendly. Pub was quite quiet while we were there, ideal for chatting with friends. Decent selection of beer on and a decent set of menu choices.
We no longer live in the UK, but would come to the Grove often when we did. Everything was absolutely perfect - the atmosphere is inviting and the roast is not only elevated but tastes like home. All the staff are lovely, but special shout out to Gynette who was incredibly warm and put a ribbon on our experience!
This was our second visit to The Grove, and we've enjoyed it both times. The food and drinks were delicious.nA special thank you to Mariana, whose friendly and professional service inspired me to write this review. She made our visit even more enjoyable. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
The food was excellent and delicious, kudos to the kitchen team. I didn’t manage to take a picture of the lobster croquettes but it was also perfect! nnThe staff were friendly and accommodating especially Gynette who smiles a lot and has a good sense of humor.nnThe atmosphere is cosy and comfortable. They also have a beautiful and spacious garden outside.nnWill definitely recommend this place to my friends and family
Excellent Sunday roast. Creative and really well-thought out. Lots of little extras. Incredible pudding menu. Great service from Nicola.
